Julie M. Benz (born May 1 1972) is an American actress best famous for her portrayal of Rita Bennett on Dexter for which she was the winner of the award in 2006. Satellite Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in an Series Mini-Series, Mini-Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television. Her role was on the show No Ordinary Family until it was cancelled on the 13th of May in 2011. Darla, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Angel was one of her most prominent previous roles. She played the role of Alex Jensen the secretary of Sheldon Cooper (one of the principal characters played by Jim Parsons) in the sitcom The Big Bang Theory. Other noteworthy shows are Bent Betas as well as NCIS in which she played Delilah Fielding. Harshman, who has been she has been a hit with The Even Stevens Movie and others in which she played mainly support roles, has also appeared in numerous other movies.
