Sometimes a glittering career hides some of the most heartbreaking stories. Lolo Jones, who won the USA and the World Olympic Games for the hurdle in 2013, has only reached this position with a lot of perseverance and effort. Jones was the sole child of a five-child family who lived in a slum. Her mother and she lived in the basement of the local church. Brandt was raised and born in Cape Town, South African. She immigrated to Auckland New Zealand with her family in her teens. Lesley-Ann Brandt was born the 2nd of December, 1981, in Cape Town South Africa. She's a very talented New Zealand actress.
